As the time passed and the date of travel came closer, I again approached my boss for approval but this time he took me to seniors and there it was a matter of discussion that should I be granted leave or not in spite of the fact that the work was not getting much affected in my absence.
It was indeed very tough to get approval for my first trip as I had to throw my last dice when I urged them that I will be losing huge amount if my trip is not approved since flights have been booked and everything is set for the trip. But thanks to my boss Vivek sir for finally allowing me to go to Thailand. Not only did he permitted but he also suggested me for do’s and don’ts which were helpful during my journey, this I will reveal as the story progresses.
Finally, the travel date arrived and I reached Kolkata after taking halt in Varanasi for one day. My train reached Kolkata one hour late from the scheduled arrival but not to worry as I reached at 10’o clock in the morning and my flight was scheduled at 12:30 am at night, I kept sufficient margin of time so as to avoid any extraordinary event.
As I landed at Kolkata, I called up my mom and told her that I am going to switch off my phone in order to avoid any clash between my relatives as by doing so no one will get to know about my location and without any noise I will leave for Thailand.
