Visa for Indians travelling to Maldives is available on Arrival, so my work was reduced for this journey and I didn’t faced much hassle at Delhi Airport and Colombo Airport.
But one thing for sure, at both the airports, one question was common…Are you travelling alone?? Do you have return air documents to India???
Since I was having the requisite documents, so the hassle by immigration was less this time.
I did check-in online so I took window seats as usual to enjoy best views of Maldives, bust it was hazy in Maldives, so, I could take aerial pictures of some resorts which were not very clear but iconic “water villas” were clearly visible.
The flight reached to Male’s Ibrahim Nasir International Airport on time and I was carrying only a back pack so it took minimum time for me to reach to immigration counter.
