Canoeing Fun
The water sports point was very far from my room since it was located at the other end of the island and it virtually took more than 20 minutes to reach that point, but since ambiance of resort was good, so the time passed but thought of walking back after canoeing was horrifying.
Nevertheless, I reached to the water sports point, and took one canoe for ride.
After small briefing of the water area and the boundary limit for canoeing, I was handed canoe.
This was my second full fledged canoe ride after Lakshadweep trip, where I had learned the basics of canoe riding.
It is important to have the basic knowledge on “how to ride” canoe. in order to ensure safe ride and enjoy the view inside water. Since, I was riding canoe alone, so the basic knowledge was much required.
With my life jacket on, I started sailing.

The weather was warm at Sun Island, so I chose evening time before sunset for canoing and it was was almost quarter past four when I started my ride but it was still bright and sunny and hence could not resist to the sunshine by more than 30 minutes.
But before completing the trip, I managed to cover some part of the designated area, where water was very shallow and clear.
The coral reefs and fishes were easily visible from the boat.
The view of resort was even more beautiful from water because that view is not possible from the resort land.

The view of the resort was picture perfect and it was like a painting of nature.
I stopped sailing for a while to capture those moments, which were on a verge of becoming history in my memories.
I was not alone on the canoe, I was accompanied by my mobile which was entertaining me throughout the ride by playing songs like….
“ Aate Jaate…Haaste Gaate…”
“ Jab Saamne tum aa jaate ho…”
I had to end my ride early because it was time for “Sun” to say “goodbye” for the day and I had already shortlisted the place at the island to witness the beauty.
