Aquarium below Water Villa

Posted on April 15, 2020 by Abhishek Prahladka

It was my dream to stay in the water villa for once in the life time and it was the time that my dream has become a reality. No matter, for how many days, but what matters is the dream coming true even for a fraction of time.

And I could not resist myself from jumping into the water.

Water All Around.

I was travelling to Maldives, so I was fully prepared and equipped. I was carrying my snorkel set along with fins, underwater camera and thus I had to wait for nothing and I jumped into the lagoon water.

And suddenly I found myself standing in a three feet aquarium which was a delight moment for eyes.

My eyes were wide open  since they could not believe on what they were seeing and experiencing.

I was not expecting this view below my Water Villa and it was indeed a surprise for me.

There was no area restriction for swimming and snorkeling, since the lagoon was very vast and I don’t know how much time I had spent inside water, just watching the species of fishes, corals.

The video recorded by me can be seen at below link-

The level of excitement was so high that i was not even thinking of tanning of my skin and it was a bright sunny day. It was noon and i was standing alone in the water comfortably.

Water, which looks calm and quiet, takes away lot of things from inside the body and that too in a rapid manner when sun is shining bright over the head. The same happened with me also, i started feeling thirsty and hungry after spending almost 1 hour and 30 minutes inside water and i had no choice but to take a break from snorkeling and return back to my Villa. However, my bag was having all the supplies and whatever required could have been supplied inside water but a “Companion” was missing. I had no choice but to do “self-service” for satisfying my hunger.

I took the same path to return to my room, which was from the back side of the villa but I found that the door of my room was locked from inside….
