Our visit to the park was not over yet, there is a path inside L’Union Estate, which runs to the beach Anse Source d’Argent beach. This beach was visible from the entrance of the beach where we visited first. Beautiful rock formations could be seen from far and so we decided to go to the beach. As we were approaching the beach, new portraits of nature were unfolded like pages of book.
The approach path to beach was running between the rock formations and the structures were making a perfect shape of entrance gate to the beach. It resembled like nature has itself built a gate for her children’s to witness her glory.
The giant single piece rock or a monolith was inclined on another and such formations were very common at the beach.
These rocks are the oldest rock formations of Seychelles and as an estimate, they are around 700 million years old. The best way to enjoy these monoliths is the evening time, when, sunset can be enjoyed from its peak, which is not difficult to climb. We also wanted to witness the exceptional beauty of nature from top of these monoliths, but the travel schedule had no place for this.
After observing beauty of these monoliths from various angles, we headed towards the crystal-clear water of Anse Source d’Agent beach, where beach rocks were glittering in their natural color. The color of sand was shining like gold and the sea water was calling with open heart, which was difficult for me to resist.
But, the problem was the sunny day, which was limiting our exposure in the sea water. The drinking water was not enough to boost the energy level, due to high humidity. The weather has changed completely as compared to morning, when it was raining. But there was a nice arrangement for boosting the energy level, in the form of refreshment booth at the beach, which was offering coconut water.
Indeed, coconut water proved to be a life line in the harsh weather condition and it took two golden coconuts to boost our glucose level for balance trip, since one golden coconut was not enough to boost the energy level of me and my wife. This refreshment booth was very well placed at the beach and it actually proves very useful for tourists.
