I went to one shop and inquired about the conditions for renting bike.
I was told that passport would be required to be submitted in order to get bike on rent and driving license is not a compulsion.
This was something new which I came across, that how passport is working as a permit to drive vehicle.
At first instance, I was reluctant on the condition of depositing passport as security since submission of passport meant like submitting life in hands of someone who is stranger and that too in exchange of only “a bike”!!!!
I inquired almost 5-6 shops in order to know genuineness of the demand but all of them had same conditions.
So finally, I decided to take chance and chose one shop where I was attended by a beautiful lady. I tried to bargain, but couldn’t succeed as she told that the price offered to me was lowest.
So, after completion of all formalities I got scooter on rent which was like Indian TVS Scooty along with helmet. It was not very tough for me to drive Scooty after being habitual of driving bike in India but for sure, I was feeling uncomfortable. This was probably due to my habit of driving big wheels vehicle.
Now, I had new wings and my journey started in new direction.
