I got confused as I was unaware of those places and all were looking good.
Finally, I asked her to suggest best for me being a single traveler. She advised me to visit Phang-Nga Bay (pronounced as Phanga Bay) which, as per her, is a beautiful place, rich in natural beauty and the tour included activities like snorkeling, canoeing, etc. Other places also included in itinerary was James Bond Island, Hong Island, Penak Island, Bat Caves and other places as per convenience and weather.
She quoted me price of 1400 THB which was just half the price printed on brochure. But after bargain I took that tour option for 1000 THB.
The habit of bargaining by Indians sometimes proves useful as she started from 1400 THB and ended up at 1000 THB. But then I realized that the price printed on the brochures are just for show as there was no linkage between price quoted and printed. Just imagine, the level of profit if one doesn’t bargain.
After reaching to an agreement, she took my hotel address and asked me to get ready at 7o’clock in the morning for pick-up, which was also included in the package. I made one more request, which was, to drop me to the bus stand so that I can take bus to Krabi, which was my next destination.
She advised me that the bus station would be far from the place we were scheduled to go but she can advise the cab driver to drop me to the nearby station from where cab to Krabi is available and she also gave a chit to me on which “Ticket to Krabi” was written in English and in Thai language for my help.
After finalization of my plan for next day, I was relaxed and it was almost sunset time, so I hurriedly went towards beach to take some pics of sun-set along with mock tail to enjoy the evening.
