My style of Travelling

“Rivers, lakes, streams”

Wherever you source your water during your outdoor adventures, our products ensure that it’s safe, clean, and filtered. – The Tagline of Lifestraw

The question is obvious, what is my style of traveling when the question is of use of water??

My style of travelling was same alike most of the travelers but after realization of horrific impacts of plastic bottles, I started search for a solution to it. In this quest, I found solution in the form of “Lifestraw”. I had found solution to my problem and would recommend fellow travelers to try this solution.

About Lifestraw

Lifestraw is product of Switzerland which claims to filter 1000 litres of water to 0.2 microns, without pumping, without chemicals.

As per the information provided by the company, it meets US EPA drinking water standards and removes 99.9999% of bacteria (E.Coli etc) and 99.9% of protozoa (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc). Extract from the package is available for reading as under:

This bottle costs around INR 1200.00 in India and i have been using this bottle from past 4-5 years now and the bottle has traveled along with me in almost 7-8 countries now.

By use of this bottle, i had saved considerable amount of money in buying water at the time of travelling and i had not found any health issues while using it. Sometimes, i feel that one has to give up the obsession of using “RO water only” and try other means as well which are safe and are environment friendly.

Whenever i am out of water, i fill it with all the water resources available nearby like streams, waterfall, tap water, etc and without any hesitation i had emptied water filled from such resources. For me, this solution has proved to be the life guard.

One of my recent photograph from Ta Prohm Temple, Cambodia showcases my lifeguards….my wife and lifestraw

This is only one of the solution which i found for water, i would urge everyone to find solution in their own way so that there can be multiple options. The solution would help us to conserve our environment and save money as well.
