Nature’s Wonder-Koh Hong Island

Posted on February 24, 2019March 6, 2020 by Abhishek Prahladka

The cave ended in a shallow water where it was difficult to drive boat, so we stepped down and started walking. This place was like a hidden island where there were monkeys walking by in search of food.

This place was wonder of nature in many senses, as in mid-sea there was hidden island where we can walk freely and one can’t expect this from outside cave entrance, existence of animals at a place where the question of their survival was there.

I questioned my guide about the survival of the monkeys at this place as no fresh water and no sign of food?

He replied that this place is gifted with fruit trees which is a source of food for them and the rain water gets collected at few places which forms part of their survival.

This was truly “Wonder of Nature”.

Mother Nature had created system of universe in such a way that no one is deprived of her blessings and her hands of blessings and care could be seen at this place. Just a matter of thought that how life exists in such a place, which is surrounded by salt water and has no source of external food and water. Having seen such wonder, my heart saluted god for such beautiful creation and giving proof of his existence.

View inside cave

It was time to return back to our main boat for onward journey so I took some selfie and surroundings pictures so as to retain them as gift from the Mother Earth. The color of water inside cave which kept on changing with the color of rocks was worth watching. Even the caves rocks are now multicolored. The formations of stalagmites were adding beauty to the caves.

It was really an eye opener as we as human being always try to take from nature without giving anything in return, but it is not so in case of nature. It is true that Mother will always remain Mother even if children are not caring.

The return journey to main boat was similar entertaining as same amount of naughtiness was displayed by me like beep…beep…pee…pee….side please….whistles…

Our next destination had no name as it was time to relax on water, so our boat sailed for another half an hour and reached a lonely place which had rocks on one side and vacuum silence on the other.
