Sunset at Krabi

Posted on April 13, 2019April 13, 2019 by Abhishek Prahladka

It was almost 4:00pm so I decided to stay at beach front rather going back to hotel.

My next priority was to fix itinerary for next day and this time it was scuba diving.

I started searching for the dive center who can offer best deals and I moved from one shop to another to get best deal but was totally out of knowledge as all were asking about license and I was not having any license.

At once I thought that it would not be possible to dive without license but after more search of half an hour I got my best deal of two fun dives for 3000 THB. This was a fair deal as compared to other dive centers, as I was explained that cost of fun dives will always be more than licensed dive due to diving without training and license.

I asked the dive center about the other dive centers who were asking for the license. They told me that usually dive centers in Thailand ask for license since many divers who visit Thailand for diving are trained. Never mind my dive was fixed for next day without any license.

My schedule was fixed for 8:00 a.m. next day and details were exchanged for better coordination. It was indeed my first dive and few hours back I got taste of another world which was as tasty as food cooked by my mother.

My booking of next day relaxed me and it was now time to enjoy the beach of Krabi.

My search of suitable dive center evaporated water from my body and to recoup it, I went to a juice station which was a small shop selling varieties of juice and mock tail.

‘Try something new’ was my new slogan so I ordered for an aqua flavor mocktail which was delivered to me in a unique way.

Mocktail was poured in a thin and transparent plastic bag, the bag was pricked by a big straw, than the bag was placed in a paper bag with a handle so as to carry it comfortably.  Now I was carrying mocktail like we carry vegetables in India and that too with a big straw visible from outside to enjoy sip and walk along the beach.

To start with, I choose one end of the beach which was approximately 2 kms long and there was option to walk on sand or on the footpath on another side of the beach. I decided to start from footpath for one way and return while walking on sand.

While moving towards the starting point, I passed through many bars and restaurants which were offering discount during happy hours starting at 8:00 p.m. every day and lasting till 11:30 pm. I was also looking for offers as I had to take dinner.

It took half an hour to reach the end of beach and I sat down there to take rest and enjoy mocktail which still had few sips left. It was a breath taking view as it had composure of sand, rocks, water and sun and me, all five elements at one place.

My image on sand

I took out my mobile and tuned to the song “Emptiness” to enjoy my loneliness and emptiness on the cool sand along with mocktail to enjoy evening.

The mesmerizing beauty and calmness loaded with music was stealing heart. Songs passed one after the other.

From ‘Emptiness’ to ‘Phir Mohabbat Karne Chala’ to ‘ Abhi mujh main kahin baaki thodi si hai zindagi’ and some other soulful lyrics which kept my heart and brain busy. Thoughts, feelings and figures running inside brain, some reality, some illusion, some imagination and some creation and still I kept staring at the beauty of the nature, which was changing colors with the passage of every moment.

Sun slowly-slowly moving for new journey

Every second, there was different shade and it was getting more beautiful as the time passed. I can say that, Mother Nature blessed me with all the shades which she can have at the place and left no stones turned to make my trip a memorable one.

The evening passed while listening to the songs and watching sunset. So, in a happy mood and in happy hour, I visited an Indian restaurant which I noticed during my walk on the pathway.

    Hi,

I’ve been visiting your website a few times and decided to give you some positive feedback because I find it very useful. Well done.

I was wondering if you as someone with experience of creating a useful website could help me out with my new site by giving some feedback about what I could improve?

You can find my site by searching for “casino gorilla” in Google (it’s the gorilla themed online casino comparison).

I would appreciate if you could check it out quickly and tell me what you think.

Thank you for help and I wish you a great week!
