I saw the signal to follow “The Captain”. So me along with fellow travelers started walk towards domestic airport which was adjacent to the Male International Airport. At the airport we were in que at the counter of Villa Air, which took our passport and issued boarding pass for travel to Sun Island. Just by showing our passport, i was handed my ticket to Villa Airport Maamigili, which was the transit airport to Sun Island.
As per schedule, the flight took-off towards Sun Island Resort.
Yes, it was indeed luxury experience, but it comes with heavy fees. The to and fro transfer from Male Airport to Sun Island costs USD 252.00 per person. Normally, it can be booked directly with Airline because costs is almost same, but in case the incoming international flight is late than I think the resort will take care of the itinerary. The normal cost is approx. USD 120.00 per person one-way so the cost is almost same. But nevertheless, it is expensive for such a small duration transfer.
Anyhow, the boarding was on-time and we reached Mami Gili airport as per schedule.
From the airport all the passengers were taken to a jetty for onward transfer to the resort and our luggage was sent from another bus.

The resort island was not very far from airport island and it took almost 15 minutes to reach to our destination i.e Sun Island Resort.
